Hi! I'm Andy, Development Director* at Clarity Clinic in Dubuque, Iowa.
While serving at Clarity Clinic, I realized our greatest fundraising asset wasn't another brochure or annual report. It was the stories.
Real people.
Real lives.
Real moments where God changed everything.
That realization led to LIFE WITH CLARITY, a donor book that continues to connect supporters with the ministry long after events have ended.
Today I combine my experience in fundraising, storytelling, and publishing to help pregnancy centers strengthen donor relationships through story. Now, I help other pregnancy centers create books that do the same.
*Before entering nonprofit ministry, I practiced as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
Writing isn't new to me.
How the writing began.
While on a mission trip to Haiti, a missionary inspired me with his fantastic story. I returned home thinking, “Someone needs to write his story.” So, I wrote his biography: GIVE YOUR BEST. This book has helped raise over a million dollars for Mountain Top Ministries, Haiti.
Later, when aspiring authors asked for help, I took on ghostwriting projects and have loved the process!
I’ve won an award (Selah Awards Finalist) for a novel and helped a client (David Cordeau) become an Amazon bestseller.
I did all this on the side while working as an Oral Surgeon. Now retired from surgical practice, I'm able to work full-time telling important stories that need to be told.
